Stewart Lamprey, Broker Associate, is the founder and former owner of New Hampshire Business Sales, Inc. He made his first real estate sale in 1939. In April 2000 Stewart sold New Hampshire Business Sales to his associates Ivor Thomas and Leon Parker. Stewart continues as a Broker Associate and as a Director. He has been a member of the NH Realtors Association so long they have given him a lifetime membership. He has been selling businesses for much of that time, and specifically running this business and commercial real estate firm since 1976. Stewart also has an extensive political background. His experience and his extensive contacts are invaluable in helping sellers and buyers deal with the complexities of a sale.
Ivor Thomas, CBI, Broker/Owner

Ivor Thomas, CBI, Broker/Owner, has a diverse business background of sales, management, and administrative experience. A Pennsylvania native, a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh (Bachelor of Science) and of Adelphi University (Masters in Business Administration), he served as an Officer in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. Subsequently, he was affiliated with Proctor & Gamble Co.'s Charmin Paper Products manufacturing operations in Pennsylvania in various supervisory positions, with the former St. Regis Paper Co.'s Kraft Division as Divisional Planning Coordinator in New York City, and as Director of Corporate Planning & Human Resources in Bristol, NH for Freudenberg-NOK (formerly International Packings Corporation). Since becoming a Business & Commercial Real Estate Broker in 1990, he has performed business valuations, is a member of IBBA, NEBBA, & ABBA(American Business Brokers Assn), and has been involved in a variety of transactions with all kinds of business activities throughout NH. He is a co-owner and treasurer of the company. Ivor is based in the Meredith office.
Leon Parker, CBI, Principal Broker/Owner

Leon Parker, CBI, Principal Broker/Owner, is now company President. After graduation from UNH, Leon went to Washington and became a Federal Executive, with years of service in the Navy, Peace Corps and a government foundation involved in foreign assistance. Since his return to New Hampshire in 1985 he has been involved in real estate and business brokerage. Leon has been associated with Stewart Lamprey for many years. He has handled a wide range of businesses, and sold properties from Nashua to north of the notches. He is a member of IBBA (International Business Brokers Association), NEBBA (New England Business Brokers Assn) as well as the New Hampshire Lodging and Restaurant Association. Leon works out of the Henniker office.
Melanie Heinis, Operations Manager

Melanie Heinis, Operations Manager, provides administrative management for the company from her base in the Meredith office, where she oversees administrative activities, marketing, web & print advertising, and acts as the communications coordinator for the company. Our associates spend a lot of time on the road, and are seldom in the office, making them often hard to contact, and making her communications coordination role very important. She has been with us since January 2000, and has a total of over 15 years experience in business brokerage offices, in addition to several more years of office administrative work.
Ed Settino, Broker Associate

Ed founded Metropolitan Parking System, Inc. in 1977, and built it to the most professionally managed parking company in New England, with over fifty sites in RI, MA, ME, and NH. After selling his business he obtained his real estate license and then his broker's license. With his experience of negotiating hundreds of contracts throughout his career, Ed can serve the seller and potential buyer with his many years of first-hand, owners experience. He lives in Greenland, NH.

Significant business experience combined with professional affiliations as past president of the New England Mail Order Association, founding member - past Chairman - and current Board member of the Belknap County Economic Development Council, and past Chairman of the Meredith Chamber of Commerce gives Ken a unique understanding of the issues that benefit business buyers and sellers. Don Leavitt, Broker Associate, brings 18 years of experience in entrepreneurship and the hospitality industry to N.H. Business Sales, Inc. For buyers and sellers he is able to call upon his extensive business experience from start-ups to exit strategies. He has founded two inns and restaurants, and developed business plans for several more. He has founded and operated several other companies including a movie theatre and an Internet based nautical antiques business. Don has served on the boards of the New England Innkeepers Association, the New Hampshire Travel Council, and the New Hampshire Preservation Alliance. Don grew up in Maryland and also lived overseas in the Middle East and South America. He has a BA in American History from the University of Maryland and a Master's Degree in Journalism from Northwestern University. For several years he was a news reporter for WNNE-TV in Vermont. He is a member of IBBA. A resident of New Hampshire for 21 years, Don recently moved into a restored 1842 house in Vermont.

He is a Certified Business Appraiser (CBA), a Business Valuator Accredited for Valuation (BVAL), and a licensed real estate broker in both Maine and New Hampshire. He was southern Maine's first Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) of the Realtors' National Marketing Institute. He is a founding member of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) and has been active in all aspects of business brokerage and valuation since he sold his first business in 1979. His New Hampshire real estate license is with New Hampshire Business Sales.
