Worldwide Chocolate, located in Barrington, NH, was recently sold by Sarah and Peter Ward to Craig Cahill who is shifting from the corporate world to the entrepreneurial life of a business owner.

The Wards founded the e-commerce business 12 years ago to offer a wide range of chocolate and related products to consumers across the globe. It evolved, literally from their home garage into a business with daily deliveries and shipping requiring a 2,500-square-foot facility and producing nearly $3 million in sales each year.

Initially, Cahill will be leasing the space from the Wards and eventually plans to move the business to larger space, allowing for further growth and the introduction of new product lines.  He and his family will be relocating from Kingston, MA to New Hampshire.

The deal was brokered by Ed Settino of New Hampshire Business Sales.

New Hampshire Business Sales, based in Pembroke, is the state’s premier business brokerage firm and is entering its 40th year. The company has assisted owners of privately held NH businesses in valuing, marketing and selling their businesses since 1976. The firm’s associates have a variety of business backgrounds and ownership experience. Associates work from offices around the state.
