The Greenfield Inn Changes Hands

215026_sold_600x400.jpgA landmark inn that has hosted visitors for a generation has been sold by the founders to a pair of new owners who plan to build on the rich heritage of providing friendly lodging in this New Hampshire town.Victor and Barbara Mangini have sold the Greenfield Inn Bed & Breakfast in Greenfield, NH to Kenneth Tetreault and John Jordan of Palmer Mass.  The Manginis have run the B&B successfully since they started the business in 1986, and have now retired.The Inn is a quintessential New England B&B in the Monadnock Region and near the Crotched Mountain State Park and Crotched Mountain Hospital.  The new owners will be continuing and revitalizing the business and plan several renovations to the property.  They will continue to operate under the same name and phone numbers.This is a career change for both Ken and John, and owning an inn has been a goal for some time.  As they start out on this new business endeavor the Mangini family wishes them much success.The Mangini family was represented in the sale by New Hampshire Business Sales, Inc. of Pembroke, NH, which has been involved in lodging and small business sales for 40 years.  The buyers were represented by Monique Jalbert of Polka Dot Properties of Alton, NH. New Hampshire Business Sales, based in Pembroke, is the state’s premier business brokerage firm and is entering its 40th year.  The company has assisted owners of privately held NH businesses in valuing, marketing and selling their businesses since 1976.  The firm’s associates have a variety of business backgrounds and ownership experience.  Associates work from offices around the state.The Greenfield Inn is on Forest Road in Greenfield, 603-547-6327.
